Vegan Snacks for Travel

Wherever you are going whether it’s, hiking, a road trip, or a long plane ride, it’s a good idea to bring some snacks with you incase you get hungry. Here are some easy vegan snacks for travel that you can bring.

Protein Bars

It’s good to bring some vegan protein bars with you. They are generally a great snack but are also great to save in case of an emergency when you aren’t near any other food. Some of my favorites are Clif Bars, Clif Builder’s bars, Vega Protein Bars, and Garden of Life Protein Bars. There are even more that I haven’t tried that I have seen at my local grocery store. If you find some that you like, or you make your own, bring those along.

Fruit

A mix of colorful berries

Fruit is a great snack to bring with you on, road trips, hikes, and all your other travels.  Some of my favorites are dates, bananas, apples, grapes, mangoes, oranges, peaches, nectarines, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and kiwi.

Dried fruit is another great option because if takes a long time to spoil.

Vegetables

Vegetables are great just like fruit. I like to bring carrots, bell pepper, broccoli, and celery with me. You can bring the vegetables that you like.

Packaged food

There are a lot of great prepackaged food options. You can bring, chips , cookies, popcorn, chocolate, pretzels, hummus, and bread. There are many other packaged food items that you can bring. So bring whatever you can find that you like to eat, just make sure you read the ingredients label.

Prepare your snacks at home

Making snacks at home to bring with you is easy, cheap, and fun. Sandwiches, legumes, and trail mix are great ones that I like.  You can make your favorite recipe and put it in a to go container. You can make all kinds of snacks this way.

Whatever snacks you choose to bring with you I hope they make your travels more enjoyable. Now you need a vegan travel bag to carry them around in.
